The Trophy manufacturing Facility, division of the Brunswick Marine Group is located in Cumberland, Maryland – 130 miles from Washington, DC and Baltimore. Founded in 1787, the town of Cumberland has almost 24,000 residents.
The manufacturing facility in Cumberland was established December 16, 1987. The fishing boat plant is over 14 acres along with 90,625 square feet, all under one roof.
At various times of the year there are up to 200 people making the various models of Trophy. They are responsible for phases of construction, right from making the boat molds through the completed fishing boat product.
July of 2008, Trophy Sport fishing were awarded the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award, presented by the National Marine Manufacturers Association. The NMMA is the recognized association leader for the recreational boating industry. The CSI Award was for the outboard motor fiberglass boats category.
